Our 2 man team
To ensure your hot tub is delivered and sited safely at your home we have a dedicated 2 man team. (Subject to Clear Access)
Our team are experts in their field and will ensure your hot tub is up and running ready for you to enjoy before they leave.
We use a system called the Spa Dolly or Spa Sled to take your hot tub into position in your garden or conservatory and place where you require.
Make sure that there is nothing protruding such as drainage pipes or sills that could obstruct the way.
Check to see if there are any low roofs or branches that would hinder vertical clearance. If there are any corners on the path to your designated installation site, check to see the hot tub will pass.
The route to where the hot tub is to be sited should be flat and level and not soft ground. Check and inform us if there are any slopes, retaining walls, steps or level differences that may cause problems. Any extra resources may incur a charge call 01212774874 to discuss further.
Under special circumstances, where there is no clear or easy route, a crane can be used to position your hot tub. Please contact a local crane company to arrange this service if you think it may be necessary.
Please note that the cost of the crane would be charged extra.
Installing your Hot Tub
A registered electrician will need to visit and install a circuit breaker (fuse) and a RCD in your electrical consumer unit and run a 32a armoured cable to near your Hot Tub. A waterproof isolator switch will need to be installed about 2 meters away from your SPA and the electrician will have to hardwire the spa.
You also need to think about drainage as a large tub can contain several hundreds of litres of water. Please take into account you may need to empty your hot tub so allow for this.
Also when installing a hot spa tub you need to have a good look at the area you are installing it onto. A tub when full can weigh a very considerable amount, and as such you need to ensure that it is perfectly level. With up to five tonnes of water in your hot tub you need to ensure that it cannot move around easily.
You need to ensure that it is located on a nice firm and level surface.
Never locate your hot tub on a loose surface, it is far better to place your hot tub on a hard surface.
